DIY Dresser makeover!!

A couple months ago my grandma gave me this very, very, VERY ugly old brown dresser and I almost donated it to Goodwill! Right before I was going to get rid of it... my friend stoped me and was like, "Girl! Are you crazy?! You can just paint it and make it look like you jus bought it!" So... of course I kept it and I was actually pretty excited to give it a makeover and it was way cheap! I bought a can of white spray paint for $1.99 and 8 white knobs from Home Depot for about $0.50 each! I sanded the whole dresser and without any primer, I just went and spray painted it all white and screwed in the new white knobs and that was it! I know, super easy and super cheap! I am so glad my friend saved me from giving the dresser away! Yay!

Walking Dead!

OMG. I know it's been forever since I posted a blog. But I am back!

Halloween is soo close by! Ahh, how exciting right?! Time to feed the cavaties LOL
So my younger sister has been buggin me to help her with her costume. After many fittings and makeup testings, we finally found the right costume! Zombie princess it is! I did a little practicing on my boyfriend to perfect it before I do on the sis. SO here is what I did and I will share with you how I got this look!

It looks prety rad doesn't it?? & of course he's playing his videogames.. lol!

Materials: (I almost typed "Ingredients" HAHA)

Toilet paper (the cheaper kind with many layers)
Red Acrylic Paint
Black Acrylic Paint
Black eyeshadow
Brown eyeshadow
Elmers liquid glue
Petroleum Jelly
Eyelash glue
Toothpick

Instructions:

1. With your finger, smudge some brown eyeshadow over the desired area.
2. With your finger smudge black eyeshadw over some parts of the brown area.
3. On a few areas, squeeze some eyelash glue onto the desired areas and let it dry. This will make it look like muscle.
4. Peel the layaers of your toilet paper so that they are thin squares.
5. Squeeze generous amounts of glue on the desired area and stick a layer of toilet paper on it. Scrunch up the toilet paper that is now on the glue to give it some texture. Keep repeating this all over the area and layer toilet papers on eachother to make it thicker. (Not over the area where you put eyelash glue. We want that so show)
6. When the glue dries a bit, take your toothpick and pick at some of the areas and open them up. This will give you an open wound effect.
7. Take your black and red paint and using your fingers, dab it all over the toilet paper. Do this untill you get your desired color effect.
8. In the wounds you made, dab red paint and once dried dab some black eyeshadow. Do this to the "muscle" areas too.
9. Once you are happy with the effect, take out the petroleum jelly and with your finger, thinly dab some over the whole thing to give it a little shiny look.

And that's it! Hope you loveee it and enjoyed it! If you have any questions, just ask! (:

Happy Halloween

Spray Painted T-shirts!

First of all, I wanna give big thanks to boyfriend for paying for my BONE THUGS N HARMONY tickets, and to my cousin in Wenatchee for getting the tickets for us !

I of course, want to go all out... so I made T-shirts (:  How FUN!

I made a svg design on Inkscape and cut it out with my cricut. I placed a peice of carboard in between the shirt so that I wouldn't get any spraypaint on the back of the shirt. To get the stencil to stick onto the shirt, I turned the stencils backwards and sprayed them with adhesive spray. I lined up the stencil to where I wanted it placed and I spray painted away! Sorry for the pot leaf -___-. You would only understand if you listen to Bone Thugs! I messed up a little on the bottom of the leaf. (I think the leaf wasnt all the way attached on the shirt) Anywhoo, Here are some pictures (:
